WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES
The
architects thought that laundry would be better hidden behind the lattice wall;
the dwellers realized that it dries quicker if you hang it out from the window. The architects thought that cross-ventilation would be enough to cool down the apartment in the summer; dwellers
have considered that cooling units do better. The architects imagined the
inhabitants enjoying the sunlight sitting in the open galleries; the dwellers have
preferred to enclose themselves at home. The architect took the decisions having in mind a single “dweller-type”; each dweller
has taken his/her own decisions, without consulting each other.
